Well 30 people and one shower can create some fun! Craig and Toni, Wendy and Theron, Des and Brian and our best friends Tanan and Suzanne Miles came to cousin camp this year--along with Grandma and Grandpa of course. As you can tell from the pictures our time was well spent and we had everything from hula dancing to backwards day. The pond was definitely a highlight and the zip line was amazing! We learned that canoes tip over very easily (right Grandma and Grandpa) that Pulled Pork Sandwiches are great for a crowd and that washers and dryers can run pretty much 24 hours a day. Loves to all of you! Thanks for coming!

So I do this all the time to Kevin when I get a steal of a deal while grocery shopping. Coupons are still a huge part of my budget every month and I am interested to see how much you think I spent on the following...
1 pint of blueberries
2 1.75 quarts of Albertson's ice cream
1 Chocolate turtle chex mix
5 boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
4 boxes of Golden Graham cereal
9 boxes of Cocoa Puffs cereal
6 boxes of Trix cereal
8 boxes Betty Crocker fruit snacks---scooby doo, transformers, you name it
4 boxes Fruit Roll-Ups
2 boxes of Curves granola bars
3 boxes Nature Valley Sweet and Salty granola bars
4 boxes of Nature Valley Original granola bars
3 boxes of Fiber One granola bars
1 package of Mint Oreos
1 Cheerios Snack Mix
4 Yoplait YO+ yogurts (4 to a pack)
That is right folks---60 brand name items for how much moolah? Take your best guess! :)

So I learned a few things this time around while canning my peaches...
1) Putting the pit in the jar really does make the color more peachy
2) The "get rid of the air bubbles thing" before you seal them up is valid
3) I love making these knowing how yummy they are--I could hardly keep the kids from doing the old "one for me, one for the jar" routine
Now if I can only get unstuck from the floor...
